Concept & Idea
The idea behind the PiKa interactive calendar was to break the monotony of everyday routines through small, weekly actions that improve quality of life. Inspired by self-care and slow living, the goal was to create a product that feels personal, tactile, and a bit unexpected—something that encourages people to scratch beyond the surface, literally.
Design & Development
The calendar was developed entirely in Padriciano, with a strong focus on local collaboration. I worked closely on the visual concept, layout, and challenge structure, ensuring a balance of themes: wellness, food, mindset, movement, creativity, and lifestyle.
Each week hides a new challenge behind a scratch-off surface—52 in total—designed to spark curiosity and reflection. Bilingual in Slovenian and Italian, the calendar is inclusive and regionally rooted.

Production & Details
The product features custom illustrations by local artists, and all phases—from printing to die-cutting and assembly—were handled locally. The minimalist design allows the challenges to stand out, while the scratch-off mechanism adds a playful, interactive layer that keeps users engaged throughout the year.
Video Content Creation for Promotion
To best communicate the concept of the calendar, I personally oversaw the production of the promotional video content. The process included:
Narrative development: Crafting a visual concept that captures the interactive experience of the calendar, emphasizing weekly discovery and the impact of small actions.
On-location filming: Shooting videos that show the calendar in action, highlighting the scratching gesture, users’ reactions, and the progression of challenges throughout the year.
Editing and post-production: Assembling dynamic footage, paired with an engaging soundtrack and overlaid informational text to guide viewers through the experience.
